The story, in the order I work

Given · why

What was there

Firms turn repetitive contracts into templates: clause blocks with inline colour-coded variables for organisation, contacts and documents, conditional logic per block, and review requests. The design evolved through three documented phases.

What I'd do differently

The honest paragraph.

The founder wanted a contract-generation engine. We pushed back and built the system that would later let us automate: templates, typed variables, question flows. That is what reached paying customers in three months and nineteen contracts digitised. Building the engine first would have cost the year we did not have.

Build the thing that lets you automate later. Not the automation.
